"Stop waiting until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until winter, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink...There is no better time than right now to be happy." ~Robert Westerburg.
Sometimes it can feel like we gotta tie up loose ends before life can really begin. Like everything in our immediate reach is a bit unfinished. Like we are just going thru the motions until we arrive at the starting line -- the part in our story where stuff finally takes off. Its so easy to think this way because often our days of Motherhood look more mundane & repetitive than we ever thought they would. Perhaps it seems like you are in a constant state of limbo, of endless waiting, of wondering 'what's next' -- only to stop and question it all. I have been there. So many times. Where I am in funk about wanting the other side but the side I'm actually on is MY LIFE & it's happening at this very moment. Nothing is more valuable than the NOW we have been given today. The present is truly as good as it gets.
The Eden church-sign is always catching my eye and usually whenever I need it the most. Maybe it's luck being so close to home. I constantly am forced to see the messages on my drive home. Or maybe it's coincidence - considering my Dad is buried in their cemetery. Maybe it's his way of reminding me to be patient -- something he knew I lacked.
The day I noticed the "latest" message on the board was this past week whenever we toured this gorgeous white farmhouse during our latest house hunting session. What was it I said on Instagram? Touring farmhouses are only growing my love for farms. My vision of the perfect house just keeps growing.
But that is another topic for another time. . .
Because today I wanted to share the latest of the road sign messages. I can't be the only person always looking for life signs.
xoxoxo,
Tiffany
p.s - this tree was next to the road sign and it is completely red. hello october vibes.
